in this billboard’ In the Jazz Davis Cocktail Recipes video, you’ll learn how to make three Beyoncé-inspired cocktails, including the Bee, the Jazz Davis Old Fashioned, and the Whiskey Lemonade. “We’ll start with a cocktail named after the queen bee herself, the bee,” Hale said. Bee starts with two ounces of Sir Davis whiskey, three-quarters of fresh lemon juice, and half an ounce of homemade honey syrup. Then, add some ice, shake the drink in a cocktail shaker, use a strainer, and pour it over your favorite ribbed cocktail glass. Twist a slice of lemon zest and garnish the rim of the glass for added flavor.
The next Beyoncé-inspired cocktail featured in the film is the SirDavis Old Fashion Cocktail. To this drink you will also add two ounces of Sir Davis whiskey and honey syrup. Unlike the first drink, this one contains two drops of Angostura bitters. You can add some ice cubes, mix it up with a stainless steel cocktail spoon, pour it into your favorite glass coffee mug, and garnish with an orange peel. You can also add orange peels to your drink. According to Hale, bitters add some spice. “It’s concentrated alcohol,” she said.
Finally, you’ll make a whiskey lemonade cocktail. Also included are two ounces of Sir Davis whiskey. “It’s probably the easiest because we go straight into our glass,” Hale said.
