Before he captured Bex, Bex Henderson introduced the squirms to make a living and was stronger than he thought. She refused to surrender and would not let him and her daughter laugh at her.
Bex turned the table around and laughed at Dr. Marak, his never happy father even in his dreams. It may have been dangerous since she was with him, but Bex seems to be masterful in mocking these killers and surviving.

While some fans prefer the weekly serial killer aspect, the appeal of the series is Bex’s life and how certain elements affect her. Without that, we wouldn’t have a show.
