New York rapper Ice Spice has issued a brief apology for her controversial performance at an Australian festival last week during the penultimate show of her current tour schedule.
Ice Spice has spent the New Year in Australia, where she has been booked to perform at several music festivals, including Beyond the Valley Festival in Victoria, as well as three Wildlands dates in the capital Brisbane, Perth and Australia’s capital cities Festival.
The Brisbane edition of Wildlands takes place on New Year’s Eve, just one day before Ice Spice’s 25th birthday, with the musician scheduled to perform from 10:30pm to 11pm as one of the headliners.
