2022 movies influencer As the title suggests, it’s all about social media. It also involves murder and mayhem in Thailand. Eli Roth would be proud. This story about a naive world traveler who comes into contact with evil may not be on the level of Hotel. However, it’s all about being a stranger in a strange land.

Madison’s social media influencer is traveling alone through Thailand. Her boyfriend bailed at the last minute. Lonely, she still shows off sponsored products in front of the camera. Her travel journal is almost complete.
Enter CW. She blends into Madison’s life, serving as a last-minute guide and savior.
She is not any of these people.

Emily Tennant is Madison. A reluctant man takes part in a social media travelogue of Thailand after her boyfriend is released on bail.
The boyfriend said Rory J. Saper was Ryan. He plans to join Madison soon.
Cassandra Nord is on The CW. A beautiful “savior” steps in to help Madison. However, her motives are nefarious at best.
Sara Canning plays Jessica, another social media influencer. Unlike Madison, though, she is more worldly wise.
Paul Spurrier is the alcoholic Rupert. Maybe a former Pat and Gary Glitter Award contender.

Canadian director Kurtis David Harder and co-writer Tesh Guttikonda have given us an impressive psychological thriller.
Take advantage of the current trend of documenting world travel on social media to “win friends, influence others and make money.” Everyone wants to be a star and be part of their own production.
The characters may be nothing more than two-dimensional cutouts, but for The CW this works very well.
it works
influencer It does work on many levels. The characters don’t have too much depth, but that works to the film’s benefit. We were overwhelmed by the strange surroundings and the people who inhabited them.
Rupert, CW in the bar and the complete lack of anyone on the beach/resort made us feel uncomfortable. Madison, as the main character, is difficult to read from the beginning. We mistook her discomfort for boredom and dissatisfaction with her current career.
The CW immediately took aim at her new logo. Again we weren’t sure of her motives, but those of us who traveled immediately distrusted her.
I’ve been waiting for it to “reappear”. If I say any more there will be spoilers. So let’s leave it at that. when you watch influencer Hope you understand what I mean.
judgment
influencer It’s a difficult movie no Watch. Once you get into the story, the slow pace doesn’t matter anymore. At 1 hour and 32 minutes, this is not a movie that is too long, nor is it a movie that lags too badly.
I can easily give it 3.5 stars for its effort. There are no real surprises in the ending here, but it fills the “horror” void before Halloween. It airs on AMC+ via Shudder.
