I’ve been a medical drama girl since I realized I was a medical drama girl.
This awareness wasn’t possible until two years ago, which might be interesting for many people who followed me in their work, but I digressed.
When CBS GreenLit’s own medical drama was also a detective program, inspired by the iconic Arthur Conan Doyle character and starred by Morris Chestnut forever, they caught my attention.
For us to enter Watson Season 1, the three episodes were fast forward for us, and to be nice, it didn’t have my attention.
Fearing that anyone tends to pack a girl when they hate their bondage, type bending is more attractive than anything when watching the series.
There is nothing better than a show that knows how to play with traditional formats and categories.
Genre bending and fusion is an art form, so it was successful in this adventure.
Sadly, Watson is not one of them.
Ironically, a series of cases designed to leverage a team of doctors to delve into in-depth research, all fighting a wide variety of psychological problems, the series itself suffered the same plague.
I’m 100% sure this is not the intention of the series itself.
Some even think Watson is a series? It changes according to the person you ask.
Some people tweaked the show, expecting some iterations of the detective-style program, as the series dared to evoke the names of Sherlock Holmes, John Watson and Moriarty.
Others expect non-traditional medical dramas – something similar to houses.

All of this Moriarty shows the series with more Sherlock Holmes folklore, but there is also a shaky villain. Watson’s goal is almost to get rid of comic-style storytelling, such as Arrow or Gotham.
We also see this by building Watson’s team of doctors who really feel like a copy of the suicide squad. Whenever one of them appears on the screen, my brain thinks of twenty-one pilots’ “pagans”. “
Just as Watson tried to draw elements from many different genres under the guise of this kind of religious canon, but it over-received in the process.
Watson tries to be smart, cool and cheeky right away, but essentially three failings.
It doesn’t mean that a person must meet genre expectations. Anomalies can be assets rather than curses. Somewhere, the concept even aligns with the theme of the series.
In fact, Watson doesn’t know how to define what he wants.
The series must know its identity before it can be sold. Fake it until you make it and all this good stuff.
So far, there has been so much going on in Watson that it is actually almost nothing convincing. We have a mystery around Holmes’ death, Modilla’s involvement, and Watson’s brain problems.
Somewhere there, Shinwell works with the cartoonish Moriarty, whose disfigures result in his hands being actually shaped in “M” and orchestrating an attack on the city or something.

Granted, Randall Park’s cameo was a pleasant one, but that’s all there is to say about this development.
In this question, Watson solves the medical mystery, some of which are not particularly mysterious in the realm of his ex-wife, who has long harassed them and with the help of this strange colleague.
The series hints at other doctors who fight something, from antisocial personality disorder to pathological lies and anything else in between.
Obviously, the purpose of the show is to support the cast with such a unique personality that Watson is interested in them-these people are their own mysteries.
In addition to being a great doctor, their abnormal traits should also increase their charm (and prove that they are still valuable, capable doctors, despite their quirks).
But smart minds manage to make this tactic better.
We quickly felt as if we knew the characters and fell in love with them. Their neural poor effortlessly introduced the series and explored, including in the case as the positive view of “superpower”.
For now, Watson is the only striking character in the series, with Ingrid following behind. Supporting actors work hard to make characters or weird, puzzling writing work.
Morris Chestnut is talented, charming, and capable of almost anything. You just need to look at his work to draw this conclusion.

He gave his all. You will see him sometimes be happy. But usually, it feels like he doesn’t know how he should play Watson.
In this regard, the rest of the actor struggles are the same. Sadly, Watson cannot rely on the charm of chestnuts, nor can he rely on the charm of chestnuts.
In you, Watson fanatic (or villain).
What do you think of the series so far?
Will genre chaos hurt the series?
Should they stick to the more classic Holmes storytelling or give it up altogether and lean towards medical procedures?
