J. Cole celebrates 10th anniversary 2014 Forest Hills Boulevard A special one-night concert on December 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The 39-year-old rap star announced the news on Friday (November 29) to mark the tenth anniversary of the release of his third studio album. The Live Nation-produced event will go on pre-sale on Monday (December 2), with official sales starting on December 4.
In addition to the anniversary concert, Cole also revealed that the special edition 2014 Forest Hills Boulevard Both vinyl and CD versions are available for pre-order. These anniversary editions will include four new bonus tracks and alternative cover art.
Released on Roc Nation via Columbia Records in December 2014. 2014 Forest Hills Boulevard The debut album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it Cole’s third chart-topping album. The album title was inspired by the address of the North Carolina home where he lived until 2003. Songs, including “Obviously,” “Wet Dreamz,” “No Role Modelz,” “Fire Squad” and “A Tale of 2 Citiez.”
News of the concert follows the release of Cole’s mixtape friday night lights released on a streaming platform for the first time since its debut in 2010. Earlier this week, the rapper also previewed two unreleased tracks he recorded with Kendrick Lamar, “Shock the World” and “Temptation,” on the fourth episode of his Inevitable podcast. The songs date back to 2010, when the two artists were considering recording a joint album.
In other news, J. Cole also revealed that Dreamville Fest will celebrate its fifth anniversary in 2025, with presale tickets going on sale on December 11 at 9 a.m. ET.
