James Gunn Recently talked about his upcoming superman movie and how fans will like it David Collenswaite and Rachel Brosnahan For Superman and Lois Lane in the movie. He particularly trumpeted Corenswet, saying:
“The movie is going really well. We’re deep in the edit. David Corensthwaite is going to blow people away.”
“He’s the movie star that everyone dreams of being. I don’t think anyone really understands the depth of this man’s talent, dramatic, comedic, and he’s probably the best physical action star I’ve ever worked with.”
“He’s an incredible actor, and Rachel Brosnahan, people are going to die for her too.”
Well, I hope he’s right! I’ve watched a few movies with Coronthwaite since he took on the role of Superman, the most recent being tornadobut he’s rather one-dimensional and monotonous here. However, Gunn was clearly better in Superman.
superman will follow “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent in Smallville, Kansas.”
“He was the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that views kindness as obsolete.”
We’ve also heard that the film “veers completely into hardcore sci-fi and fantasy, the complete opposite of Man of Steel.”
“It’s set in a very different world from ours and very far removed from the DCEU. The heroes have been around for many years and we’ll see how it affects the history of that world and shapes the DCU.”
