    Jonas Brothers’ father’s company acquires hit songwriter Julia Michaels’ catalog

    Hit songwriter and artist Julia Michaels has struck a music rights deal with Corrum Capital Management-backed Jonas Group Publishing and Jonas Catalog Holdings.

    According to a press release, Michaels has sold “substantial” publishing rights and recordings to the Jonas Group.

    Nashville-based Jonas Group Publishing was founded in 2020 as a division of Jonas Group Entertainment, founded in 2005 by Kevin Jonas Sr., father of the Jonas Brothers.

    Led by President Leslie T. DiPiero, JGP is also home to songwriters including Terri Jo Box, Justin Ebach, Franklin Jonas, David Kalmusky, Bailee Madison and Amy Stroup.

    Acquisitions include Michaels’ four-time Grammy-nominated platinum album If the end of the world comes, She wrote and recorded the song with JP Saxe.
