BMG has promoted Katie Kerkhover to senior vice president of A&R for Frontline Recordings, North America.
In the newly expanded role, Kerkhover will now lead the A&R team in BMG’s Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York and Toronto offices.
Kerkhover will commute between Los Angeles and Nashville, where she currently lives.
The executive reports directly to Jon Loba, President of Frontline Recordings, Americas.
Kerkhover joined BMG in 2020 and previously served as senior director of music publishing creative, where he managed BMG Nashville’s songwriter roster, which included Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, Stephen Wilson Jr., Emily Landis and Chayce Beckham, among others. Develop new songwriters and artists.
Kerkhover was promoted to Vice President of A&R at BMG Frontline Recordings in Nashville in 2022, responsible for the recording artist rosters of BBR Music Group’s Broken Bow Records, Stoney Creek Records and Wheelhouse Records, as well as identifying, signing, and developing new talent for the rosters.
Since leading BBR Music Group’s A&R, she has worked with the likes of Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean and Chayce Beckham, and is currently working with Blake Shelton’s team on his upcoming BMG Nashville debut.
Kerkhover’s promotion comes six months after BMG unveiled its revamped US Frontline Recorded organizational structure, which is aligned with its newly implemented “BMG Next” strategy.

BMG revealed in January that it planned to increase its investment in US record companies this year and “double down” its North American business.
