Keanu Reeves Play the role of Shadow Sonic the Hedgehog 3 The casting was inspired. There’s no doubt he’ll be great in the role, and he recently opened up about the “intense” process of getting into character during the taping.
In the release of the new special, Reeves shared: “Shadow has been in suspended animation for 50 years. He’s coming out of it to seek revenge. It’s truly an inner journey into rage and emotion. Intense.”
He added: “Sonic 3 and Shadows are really on another level.”
Behind-the-scenes video also features Dr. Robot star Jim Carreywho also shared his reaction to Levi’s casting.
He said: “When I heard Keanu Reeves wanted to play Shadow, I said, ‘Oh, okay.'” And I went for it [gestures a come at me sign],” before adding: “Shadow has that sympathetic, brooding darkness that Keanu has mastered so well.
The movie is said to be Sonic’s most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite to face off against a powerful new adversary called Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers they’ve never faced before.
“Unmatched in every aspect of their abilities, Team Sonic must find an unlikely alliance in order to stop Shadow and protect Earth.”
