300 Entertainment co-founder and CEO Kevin Liles released a statement following the news that Atlanta rapper Young Thug will be released from prison after pleading guilty on Thursday (October 31).
Lyles co-founded 300 Entertainment in 2012 and signed with Thug (real name Jeffrey Williams) in 2014. Charles issued a statement.

Thug, 33, has been in custody for the past two years after being charged in May 2022 with 27 other members of YSL Records on 56 counts of violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) law . The trial, which begins in November 2023, accuses YSL of murder, carjacking, drug dealing and many other crimes.
After days of closed-door negotiations with Fulton County prosecutors, Sager refused to accept a plea deal that would have led to his immediate release, ultimately opting for an unnegotiated plea. Late Thursday, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker sentenced Thug to 15 years of probation with no time to serve.
Before sentencing, Sager noted the power and influence he holds in the community and told the court he “takes full responsibility for my crimes and charges.”
