Live performance, touring and brand partnership agency Wasserman Music has appointed three music industry executives from rival agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) to its leadership team.
Kevin Shivers, James Rubin, and Christina BaxterWasserman’s appointment is effective Monday (January 6). Shivers and Rubin will serve as executive vice presidents and executive management, while Baxter will serve as senior vice president. Kevin Shivers lives in Los Angeles and joins Wasserman Music after serving as Senior Partner and Co-Director of WME’s Hip Hop/R&B team. His client list includes major artists such as Taylor, The Creator, Snoop Dogg, Baby, Cady Boy, and summer traveler. Shivers has received industry recognition including advertising billboard 2024 R&B/Hip-Hop Players’ Choice Awards and Rankings poll star Impact 50 list.

James Rubin, who will be based in New York, will also serve as senior partner and co-director of WME’s Hip Hop/R&B division. His experience includes representing artists such as Travis Scott,Tyler,Creator, and Wiz Khalifa. Rubin’s industry awards include Agency of the Year at the UK LIVE Awards and advertising billboard A list of 40 singers and R&B/Hip-Hop talents under 40 years old.
