The rap trio from Belfast became the talk of the town with their ‘Print Legends’ biopic and picked up four Craft Awards at BIFA. The team picked up three more awards on Sunday: Chiwetel Ejiofor presented the award for Best British Independent Film to director Richie Peppiatt, who also picked up the award for Best Debut Screenplay. The film won seven BIFA awards in total, including the Craft Award, announced in November: Carla Stronge won Best Casting, Julian Ulrichs and Chris Chris Gill won Best Editing, Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante won Best Original Score, and Gary Welch won Best Music Supervision and Janet Renstrom.

The BIFA annual awards ceremony returns to London’s Roundhouse venue, hosted by host Peter Serafinowicz. He is joined by presenters including Alicia Vikander, Martin Freeman, Indira Varma and James Norton to celebrate the best of British cinema.

thriller SantoshBritain is shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, with Sandhya Suri winning Best Screenplay. The film, which tells the story of a Hindu widow who is given a chance at a new life but is forced to confront police corruption, also stars Balthazar de Ganay and James Bowsher as producers of their groundbreaking Achievement.
