When talking, there is a heart problem. It has a large number of actors, and the plot is not relatively divided between characters.
Calling the Heart Season 12 starts seem to focus more on community.
Lucas and Lee teamed up for the National Park project, while Henry and Joseph started a hazelnut business with the children of Hope Valley.

The series makes good use of its supportive actors by having Florence and Ned participate in the comic debate and find gold coins.
We learn about Molly’s history and she and Jade start dating.
But then all support roles become pop-up access again. When calling the heart spins around several characters: Elizabeth, Nathan, Ellie, and Rosemary.
If Hallmark channel renews the series for another season, something has to change.
Catering to several characters doesn’t help storyline arc
I prefer the story when I was calling Heart Season 12, but focusing on just a few characters hurts the entire series.

Nathan, Elizabeth and Allie have been the center stage since the start of the season. The only romantic plot is the consistent highlight, which is Nathan and Elizabeth.
Although I mentioned that we often see rosemary, we hardly see Lee often.
As Ellie matures, I’m glad to see Elizabeth and Ellie’s relationship progressing naturally. Now she is interested in boys and she wants to talk to a woman about something.
The family scene is the best part.
Lately, we have a lot of rosemary and although I usually like her, she has been overdoing it where she doesn’t belong.
How she was tiring to incorporate Elizabeth into her plan.

Leading the Daily Dialogue with Rosemary and Fiona is excellent. She worked with newcomers to solve local problems for many people, including children.
It leads to the best Lucas arc, which involves listening to Allie and Oliver’s perception of the lack of streams in wildlife.
Lucas is the best when fighting for the people he cares about, and he always likes the children of Hope Valley. Unlike McGinty, he never saw their views as trivial, so hopefully we can see more going forward.
If we’ve never seen it, it’s hard to invest in supporting roles
When the actor who calls the Heart is so huge that we can hardly see half of the characters.
Although I don’t want to eliminate the characters, the series needs to manage the storyline better so that the characters are more than just pop-up characters.

We have hardly seen faith since Lily started school early in the season. One of my favorite storylines during Calling Heart Season 11 is Faith gaining custody of Lily, and I hope we can see their relationship grow more this season.
It was disappointing that we didn’t, and it was also frustrating that we could hardly see Fiona interacting with her close friends during our visit home.
When I like her repurpose on the radio show, she should talk to Mei or believe in order to understand her hesitation about getting married. There is a lack of female friendship on TV.
Since they returned from their disastrous honeymoon, we hardly saw May and Mike, who were newlyweds.

The series should highlight how they were in May’s room, the progress of Mike’s home and how they adapted to live together.
I’m relieved that they showcase Mei’s culture together while calling for Episode 12, Episode 10, and plan to hold a mid-term festival together.
However, focusing on two episodes per season is not enough.
The series reduces Henry Gowen to the suggestionist. For a few episodes, it seems that he and Joseph might be doing business together and mentoring some of the kids.
Emily’s business skills were a surprise and it was great to hear how proud Henry was. I had hoped she would become their apprentice, but it could be a dream.

Finally, Angela Canfield’s graduation and aspiration to adapt to the blind community should have a bigger arc. Many are related to this topic.
Apart from the small houses on the prairie, there are not many TV shows that play a blind school in the blind school.
The Schwartzman School also offers more facilities to help Angela feel at home, and we need to learn more about how Minnie and Joseph get along with it and why Angela feels afraid to leave the home.
We love new characters and hope to stick with them
There are some new characters that we hope they will stick with if the series continues.
Oliver Garrett (Jacob Shoemay) is a great addition to the cast. Dealing with Oliver has fused Nathan and showed him how to bend the rules to help someone.

Like the stories Oliver needs to tell. It was heartbreaking to learn that his foster parents didn’t allow him to go to school, so that’s why he fell behind.
As he formed a relationship with Ellie and other residents, he seamlessly fitted into Hope Valley and became more confident.
Edie Martel (Miranda MacDougall) is Lucas’ entertainment and clever game. She is smart, trying to be fair, and refuses to let anyone take advantage of her.
She is the ideal match for Lucas and we want to see their relationship develop further.
Georgie McGill (Melissa Gilbert) feels like he is always part of the canvas. A century ago, most women were not forensic investigators, so it was fascinating to dig deep into the way she worked in the world of men.
Bill always seems to be unfortunate in love, but Jack Wagner and Melissa Gilbert need more exploration in an anxious, affectionate connection.

Some guest roles are essential, while others make no sense
Some guest characters are essential for storyline arcs, and adding other characters to this swollen cast doesn’t seem to make sense.
We need garrison gangs to learn more about gold. It was fun to watch Bill and George ask Sunny in prison.
Although Sonny Garrison is an experienced criminal, the family is under his skin like his cousin Woody, because they do what to do with Allie and Oliver and find treasure.
Toddy Davis and his wife Trudy were very interesting. One of Nathan and Elizabeth’s best arcs this season was undercover and it’s great to see them interacting with Davis at a charming dinner.

We need Toddy to lead Nathan towards Martel Ranch, but there is a romantic fluffy plot that encourages Elizabeth to find her inner heroine interesting too.
Both character arcs serve their purpose and both last for a long time.
We still question the purpose of Ava’s arc if she has no connection with the garrison gang or McInty.
Obviously she has a secret, not a heiress. I wish she was as dramatic as rosemary and talented actress.

However, it doesn’t make any sense to call the Heart Episode 12, Episode 9 when revealing that she is associated with a dark magician.
It has nothing to do with other stories. I like Tiera Skovbye, but other characters require screen time.
In you, the heart. What will you change when the name heart and storyline moves forward?
We would love to hear your suggestions, so please share them with us below.
When calling the heart is played at 9/8°C on Sunday in Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+.
