Lady Gaga endorsed Kamala Harris on social media on Sunday (November 3) and announced that she will be running for the Democratic presidential nomination in Philadelphia on Monday (November 4), ahead of the election Starring at the rally. Katy Perry attended the Vice President’s Pittsburgh rally on the same day.
“It’s time to get ready to vote. I’ll see you in Pennsylvania,” Gaga said in a video posted to Instagram on Sunday, shortly after the lineup for Harris’ rally in Philadelphia and one in Pittsburgh was released. The pop star’s clip was titled “HARRIS WALZ 2024!!”
Lady Gaga will support the Harris-Walz campaign in Philadelphia on Monday (November 4), where the vice president will hold her final campaign event, a Free the Vote rally, which will be broadcast live. Gaga was announced as the musical guest, along with Ricky Martin, The Roots, Jazmine Sullivan, DJ Cassidy and Adam Blackstone Blackstone). Oprah Winfrey, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fat Joe will be guest speakers.
The Philadelphia rally on November 4 will be held on the Rocky Steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 5 to 10 p.m. ET. Those interested in participating can RSVP online here.

This weekend, Harris made a cameo saturday night live. During the November 2 episode’s cold open, she appeared live in an election pep talk sketch, opposite Maya Rudolph, who plays her. As Kamala Harris, played by Rudolph, was preparing a speech, she looked in the mirror and saw the real Kamala Harris. “Nice to meet you, Kamala,” her reflection (the real Harris) said. “I’m just here to remind you that you got this – because you can do what your opponent can’t: open the door.”
