Laura Pausini debuted on advertising billboardIt hit the charts 30 years ago and has been a hit ever since. But this week, she finally debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new single “Se Fue,” featuring Rauw Alejandro.
The song ranked No. 82 on the Hot 100 as of November 30, driven almost entirely by its streaming numbers: in the U.S. between November 15 and 21 (the song’s first week), according to Luminate Streaming volume was 5.8 million. Pausini and Alejandro sang together on songs from Alejandro’s new album, our businesswhich debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 with 67,000 equivalent album sales, marking Alejandro’s first top ten hit.
“Se Fue” is a reworking of Pausini’s 1994 song, also titled “Se Fue”, which peaked at No. 24 on the Hot Latin Songs chart in January 1995. The song, titled “Non c” 1993, has a Spanish version as “Se Fue”. The Spanish version became Pausini’s second Latin hit and became popular in Spanish dance clubs. To honor her legacy, she released a new version with Marc Anthony, which peaked at No. 25 on Hot Latin Songs in April 2014.
Pausini, from Faenza, Italy, became famous in 1993 when he won the Newcomer Championship at the 43rd Sanremo Music Festival. when she arrived advertising billboardThe following year, she debuted at No. 22 on the Hot Latin Songs chart with the single “La Soledad.”

The latter was nominated for a 2017 Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album. In 2006, she won the award for her album listen.
