The wait is finally over; Law and Order: OC has an official premiere date!
The NBC TV series has now moved to Peacock, with the first two episodes airing on Thursday, April 17, 2025, followed by the next eight episodes each week.
The Law and Order Franchise Spinach was first aired in April 2021 and subsequently aired. Elliot Stabler returns to New York after a decade with his friend Captain Olivia Benson. Fans will know that the first four seasons of the Program Saw Stabilizer (Christopher Meloni) have infiltrated the Albanian Mafia and exposed criminal groups in New York. Season 5 will take a slightly different path.

According to NBC, Season 5 deals with “the dangerous world of cross-border smuggling” and “high-tech home terrorism.” We will also dive into the life of Stabler in Rome, an element of the show that only briefly touched on. “A criminal family intends to repay the injured person for the injuries he caused in Rome,” Peacock said.

Audiences who have adjusted Season 4 will remember the appearance of the Elliott Brothers, Randall and Joe Jr. In the new season, Stabler will rely on Randall to take care of good things at home while in office. The Stabler family also added a new member, Elliot’s youngest Eli is looking forward to a child, having a baby with his girlfriend, and following in his father’s footsteps and joining the police academy.

In August 2024, Meloni mocked “Oh, my girlfriend is here”, referring to his long-time friend and co-star Mariska Hargitay who plays Captain Benson. Since then, fans are eagerly awaiting any news about the show’s development.
What does this mean for the slow-burning relationship between Elliot and Olivia?
No spoilers! Fans will have to adjust the law and order: Organized crime can learn more! Although Elliot and Olivia haven’t seen it together on screen since Season 3, after sharing the phone call between the two in Law & Order of Law & Order, they left things in a good place: Special Victim Unit Season 25.
