Velasco finally has a big case, but it seems impossible to close.
Law and Order: SVU Season 26 Episode 13 revolves around a heinous crime near Velasco, and Benson hopes he can resolve it because he lives there.
Our TV fanatic writers Laura Nowak, Jasmine Blu and Jack Ori debate whether Velasco’s biggest story is worth it, Benson (Benson) is reasonable, and there are more.
Does Benson expect Velasco to overcome residents’ resistance to working with the police because he lives in the reality of nearby?
Laura: I don’t think it’s fair for Benson to expect Velasco to fix everything near him, ESPECWhen Finn reiterated it, I said she might fire him if he didn’t. Talk about inappropriate stress.
Jasmine: I like the fragments of Olivia, but I can’t explain my eyes widened for her urging.
I feel like when you work in a job like Benson without having to think about or not considering this, it is a double-edged sword for people of color and socioeconomics.
It reminds me of the fact that Atwater and Torres consistently endured people of color on the Chicago PD, and police were derived from specific communities.
In some ways, this pressure is realistic, but it is equally harsh.
There is a basic idea that this neighborhood is a few boulders that only Velasco can effectively linger.
Jack: Your last line says it all, Jasmine. I felt the same way – Benson expected that since Velasco lived nearby, he magically had a “inside” he didn’t have.
It also exacerbated my hell.
Velasco doesn’t know his neighbor Law and Order: SVU Season 26 Episode 13, given that they feel the police don’t really care about them, it seems they might be just upset because he’s become a policeman, he thought he knows what he knows to them It’s correct.
How do you view Velasco’s growing relationship with Danny?
Laura: Here is the best part of Law and Order: SVU Season 26 Episode 13. I hope Danny appears again and he guides him.
Danny and his grandfather were funny and I loved their response to Velasco.
Jasmine: I agree. This is my absolute favorite part.
I also hope he appears again and involves some potential guidance or something involved.
Despite my above statement, I like the personal elements of this episode of Velasco and the community culture you rarely see.
Jack: I didn’t like Danny at first, but I liked Velasco to coach him.
I thought everything Danny was involved in was around and everything turned around was stupid, but my favorite scene was when Velasco pointed out that Danny’s actions had a real impact.
This is the first Velasco-centric plot since we have to track down childhood friends who killed someone for gang start-up. How did he do it?
Laura: It’s great to see how he interacts with people. I thought he did a good job, especially when it comes to coaching Danny.
Jasmine: It should have been long ago.
I forgot that sometimes I like Velasco, who did a great job in this episode. This makes me want him more.
Jack: I also forgot that sometimes I like Velasco! I think it’s a good use for him, although part of this episode bothers me.
Velasco overcomes some big obstacles – alert groups, uncooperative witnesses and anti-police protesters. Are these problems solved too quickly?
Laura: Actually, yes, but each episode is only 45 minutes. Maybe they shouldn’t have put so many people in it, and the alert and anti-police protesters could have been enough.
Jasmine: I hope this is at least two episodes of hype. However, it is equal that they want to end quickly and move on to the next thing.
There were two episodes, though, great, especially everything they were trying to solve.
Jack: I feel like Law and Order: SVU Season 26 Episode 13. I would like to see more Velasco dealing with Vigilante groups, but there is no room for 45 minutes.
Like Velasco this time, I also had a very ambiguous ending, but there are still issues to deal with during the ongoing arc.
Carisi does not appear on Law and Order: SVU Season 26 Episode 13. Do you miss him?
Laura: We don’t have a lot of court scenes, so he’s just cameo.
I would rather he show up and have a meat scene. I didn’t miss him too much. He is one of my favorites, but I am happy to share my wealth.
Jasmine:No. I don’t hate Carisi or anything like that, but I’ve been indifferent to him so I can’t say I’m at least missing him, I’m excited, a guy who has been sitting on the bench for so long.
Jack: Honestly, I’m happy to take a break from Carisi. I don’t hate him either, but lately, his behavior has been so annoying that I don’t need him this time.
Other About Law and Order: Is SVU Season 26 Episode 13 not covered?
Laura: Benson mentioned talking to the Chief. Who is the chief now?
Involving in person after Maddie Flynn’s case is risky, but I want to meet Velasco mentor Danny and see him again. This is one of my favorite parts.
Jasmine: I feel like the series hasn’t tried its best to do all its characters this season, so when they put them in focus, I want them to let the arc breathe more.
Again, this Velasco is great. I would love it if he had two plots of content instead of ending, or maybe it would go away, or just had a line in many of the following plots.
Jack: I was very interested in the subpicture of Danny’s Vigilante Group, the group beat a guy who beats an innocent guy, so I was disappointed that, except for Danny’s days in prison before, There was nothing else until Velasco realized he would be useful.
What is your favorite quote for scenes, storylines or law & order: SVU Season 26 Episode 13?
Laura: My favorite part is Moses’ attention to detail when working with the sketch artist. That child impressed people and it really helped.
Jasmine: Velasco/Danny Dynamic. I like the last scene.
Jack: I love that they use sketch artists completely! They actually made the lineup.
