How was school today? Children at a Brooklyn elementary school told their parents they had a substitute teacher — one who really put them to work. BLACKPINK’s LISA showed up at PS 282 and spent the day teaching a group of students some “rock star” moves.
A new video uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday (October 29) shows LISA’s daytime teaching and is part of the series celebrity understudyeach episode features a celebrity guest taking over the classroom.
Although the “Moonlight Floor” singer says in the film that she has never performed with children before – and the kids seem a little apprehensive about one day learning her choreography – Ms. Lisa accepts it with a smile met this challenge.
“If you want to be a group, you have to look like a group,” the new understudy explained as the kids rummaged through the costume selection until they were dressed right for their debut as “Lisa’s group.”
Next step: Learn the “Rockstar” dance. Lisa demonstrated a short dance perfectly. The students looked at her blankly.
“This looks difficult,” one child commented.
Lisa took this lesson and broke it down into simpler pieces for the kids, and by the end of the school day, the students ended up starring in a sweet one-minute music video with a pop star. As a bonus, their real teacher gets a surprise in her classroom.
