LISA’s “Moonlit Floor” tops this week’s new music poll, which features artists from a variety of music genres.
In a poll released on Friday (October 4), music fans voted advertising billboardselected the BLACKPINK singer’s new solo single as their favorite new music release of the past week.
“Moonlit Floor” received 96% of the vote in the poll, gaining a significant lead ahead of Coldplay’s new album (moon music), evidence(For crying out loud!), this Clown: Pas de deux Soundtrack, James Bay (always changing), and others.
LISA dropped “Moonlit Floor” following its live debut at the Global Citizen Festival in September. The mesmerizing song features Sixpence None the Richer’s hit song “Kiss Me,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1998. on the album of the same name.
“Kiss me in the Parisian twilight/Kiss me on the moonlit floor,” the K-pop superstar sings on the ethereal chorus, which replaces Sixpence None the Richer’s original lyrics, “Kiss me in the milky twilight/In the moonlight Guide me on the floor.”
‘Moonlit Floor’ It’s been an exciting year for LISA, who enters a new phase of her solo career outside of BLACKPINK with “Rockstar,” which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Global 200 and became her first single “Moonlit Floor”. In the United States, she also co-produced “New Women” with Rosalia.
Coldplay trails LISA in this week’s polls moon musicreceived nearly 2% of the vote. The tenth album from British band Max Martin features collaborations including Jon Hopkins, Little Simz, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Elyanna and TINI. Coldplay’s latest album is a continuation of the band’s 2021 efforts; celestial musicranking No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
