European live events company DEAG Deutsche Entertainment continues its expansion with the acquisition of Italy’s MC² Live.
Under the terms of the deal, DEAG subsidiary DEAG CONCERTS LIMITED. All shares in MC² Live will be acquired and the Milan-based company will continue to be run by its founders, Andrea and Stefano Pieroni.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Over the past decades, MC² Live has hosted many events in Italy, including concerts and festivals featuring international music stars, such as Judas Priest, slipknot, Ramstein, 50 cents, Neo, Eros Ramazzottiand Bold font.
DEAG said the acquisition would allow it to expand its presence in Italy and “create synergies” in the live music business as well as in the long-term development of ticketing and new entertainment formats.

DEAG was listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange from 1998 to 2021 and will be delisted after 2021 Apelon Investment Group Holds a large stake in the company.
