The Lord of the Rings series recently made a comeback on Amazon ring of power Series and WB The Lord of the Rings: The Battle of the Rohirrim and the upcoming live-action Middle-earth movie Hunting Gollum.
There are rumors that there is a rivalry between the creative team behind the scenes ring of power series and the WB movie. Well, writer and producer Philippa Bones recently addressed those rumors, and she made it clear that they are not true.
“I have this belief and I hope it’s true,” she told GamesRadar+ ring of powerI think being able to expand into the world is just a good thing.
“I particularly like that part of Middle-earth history. Some people seem to think there is competition or conflict between these projects, but there is absolutely no such thing, and I don’t believe there is competition or conflict between their parts. They should complement each other and allow the others to Let’s look at Tolkien again, Can You Have Too Much?
That’s what I’m talking about! The more Tolkien the better, and I’m totally open to different takes and visions of his work.
Bones went on to talk about why they chose to work with Rohirrim Wars,explain:
“We knew we wanted it to be a standalone story so that we could introduce new characters to the audience. We wanted Middle-earth, as we know it, to be on the periphery, but not drive the world story – it’s not driven by the Dark Lord or the Lord of the Rings of.
“We also knew that we didn’t necessarily want to anchor it to a character in a live-action movie, not yet, anyway.”
Thus, the creative team embarked on a journey to tell the story of the rebellious warrior princess Hera (played by Gaia Wise). “I think some people think we intentionally had a female protagonist, but when you ask, why not one of the sons? Do you see what happened to those boys? It becomes self-explanatory,” Bones said.
“They’re interesting characters, beautifully voiced by our actors in the story, but they’re also destined characters. When you look at the beginning and the heart of this conflict, it’s actually the unnamed daughter.
“What if you start adding other layers on top of that, like, what if the boy who steps forward to seek her hand is her friend, her childhood friend? A lot of things get destroyed along the way.
“Once you start digging into this, you follow the natural thread of the story, which is the ruins of war. Who was left behind during these incredible events? So, the story itself begins to tell us who is leaving to become The most interesting character in this story.
The story is set 183 years before the events recorded in the original film trilogy. The Lord of the Rings: The Battle of the Rohirrim It tells the story of the fate of the Helmhammer family, the legendary king of Rohan.
