Morgan Wallen has been promising fans new music over the past few months, sharing photos of himself in the studio. Now, as his third studio album do one thing at a time After being certified 7x multi-platinum by the RIAA, Wallen has released his new song “Love Somebody,” giving everyone a sneak peek at his upcoming album.
He co-wrote the song with John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Cashel Schindlin, Elof Rolfe and Ryan Wojtsack, and Joey Moe and Charlie Hansom produced the song. Together they wrote a song about someone looking for a lover who “won’t leave a hole in my heart.” Elsewhere in the song, Warren sings: “I’d be lucky if I could find something more than a crazy night.”
“‘Love Someone’ is a new approach both lyrically and sonically,” Warren said in a statement. “I wanted to try something different in terms of what I wanted to talk about and how I wanted it to sound, and we were influenced by the Latin leanings. I’m really excited about this song and excited for its release.
Warren originally previewed “Love Somebody” on his TikTok account in May, then performed the song during the European leg of his One Night at a Time tour. He announced the song’s release during a double headlining show at UT Knoxville’s Neyland Stadium and performed at last month’s TJ Martell Foundation dinner honoring Big Loud partner/CEO Seth England this song.
Warren’s One night trip This weekend will feature two nights of shows at U.S. Bank Stadium in Charlotte, October 18-19. The tour lasted two years, played 87 shows in 10 countries, played 51 stadiums, in addition to music festivals and stage performances, and was named the 2023 Billboard Country Tour of the Year.
