Oscar nominated director Luca Guadagnino Has worked with many of Hollywood’s most acclaimed young actors such as please call me by your name, sigh, bones and alland challenger. But he hopes he can make a Spider-Man movie starring him The Amazing Spider-Man actor, Andrew Garfield.
At this week’s Marrakesh Film Festival presented by Variety, Garfield appeared on a panel moderated by Guadagnino, who followed up on Garfield’s comments about starring in a superhero series, saying he found Spider-Man to be A “charming superhero”.
“I remember when Sam Raimi Directed his first movie, I was 28 or 29 and I had these dreams because I was a bit of an egomaniac and I wanted someone to ask me to do one.
“So I hope I can guide you into spider man“Guadagnino said, looking at Garfield sitting on his left. Guadagnino had just directed the thriller Garfield. after huntingalso starring Julia Roberts.
Guadagnino wasn’t filming the movie at the time, but with the popularity of Garfield’s return to the franchise, maybe he’ll finally get his wish. While that ship may have sailed, a person can still dream.
