Celebrities gathered at Milan Fashion Week on Saturday (September 21), the last big day of Milan Fashion Week, with a large number of enthusiastic fans coming from one venue to another. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection previewed by designers is mostly womenswear.
Madonna sat front row at Dolce & Gabbana, alongside Maneskin’s Naomi Campbell and Victoria De Angelis. Her bandmate, Maneskin frontman Damano David, appeared across town at Diesel Records, one of the hottest tickets of the season.
Madonna attempted a semi-secret entrance to Dolce & Gabbana, donning a black veil at a fashion show that referenced her ’90s style and celebrated her 1990 tour debut Conical bra.
Models wore bleached blonde wigs and iconic corsets and fitted jackets by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, each accessorized with a feminine tapered bra. The collection was “a tribute to the iconic and powerful” A tribute to the female image.”
Madonna wasn’t specifically mentioned, but the Milan-based designer and pop star’s star cast have been consistent since creating costumes for her 1993 tour, The Girlie Show. The tour promoted Madonna’s erotica The album launches alongside her taboo-breaking coffee table book gender.
The collection is called “The Beauty of Italy” and captures that moment perfectly. Tapered bras peeked out from cropped jackets, paired with pencil skirts, garters dangled from corsets and jackets sculpted the figure. Floral prints return in a black, nude, red and white color scheme. Oversized cross earrings accentuated the look. High heels are undoubtedly high.
After taking their bows, the designers took to the catwalk to greet their guest of honor. Madonna, still wearing her long lace Chantilly veil tied with a gold crystal crown, stood up to embrace them both.
