Marvel Studios has released a new synopsis for the highly anticipated film Fantastic Four: The First Step. There are a lot of fans who are very curious about the movie, and from the initial test footage I’ve seen, it looks great!
The synopsis confirms this Julia Garner would play the Silver Surfer, but it was never officially announced. It also teases the “personal” connection between the Fantastic 4 team and Galactus, who is described as a “greedy space god.”
The plot synopsis is as follows: “Set in the retro-futuristic world of the 1960s, Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four: The First Step introduces Marvel’s First Family – Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (joseph quin) and Ben Green/That Thing (Ebony Moss-Bachrach) as they face their toughest challenge yet.
“Forced to balance their heroic roles with family ties, they must protect Earth from the ravenous space god Devourer (ralph ineson) and his mysterious forerunner, the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). If Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it wasn’t bad enough, it suddenly becomes deeply personal.
The film is directed by Matt Shakman from the script Josh Friedmanhe was brought in to rewrite the script he originally wrote Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
Fantastic Four: The First Step It is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025.
