I just finished post-production on the music video for “The Jessica Stuart Few,” which I directed. The video was shot in one day earlier this month with RED Scarlet and a skeleton crew. The Scarlet is a great little camera – really like the Epic but without all the bells and whistles. The RED MX is a joy to work with because of its size and the fact that you can slim it down to almost nothing. It does have its faults (it’s quite grainy even at low ISO), but overall it’s great to use. I’ll write a more detailed description of my experience with the camera soon, but for now here’s a link to the full video:
