“NCIS” has had countless love stories throughout its 23-year history, but most of them didn’t ruffle too many feathers on the team.
That may change as Torres’ personal life comes under scrutiny in NCIS Season 22 Episode 10.
He’s had his fair share of intense encounters on NCIS, but someone new has caught his attention and we’re trying to piece the puzzle together before the rest of the team.
CBS has confirmed that the episode, which will air on Monday, January 27 at 9/8c, will delve into the mysterious relationship and it won’t be all smooth sailing.
The network’s official synopsis states that “tensions will rise when Torres’ secret romance is discovered,” so it sounds like someone will catch the pair in this tender moment.
There is no other way to reveal this information to the team.
We’re pretty sure this will be the talk of the day for this group.
Torres suffers big loss after Gibbs and Bishop leave
Torres owes the team nothing in his personal life.
Perhaps the commotion over the new pairing stems from him and someone who might be against his fellow NCIS agents.
It’s always good to have a little mystery.
NCIS does have a lot going for it in its impressive history, but something tells me the drama surrounding the romance dissipates quickly.
The big question, however, is who this mysterious woman is.
Since Gibbs and Bishop left the team, Torres has been less candid about his life.
He’s been using his charm to solve more difficult cases, but hasn’t shared much.
It took him a long time to open up to Gibbs, and when Gibbs decided to do something for himself to change, he felt like he’d lost a mentor.
The good news is that Torres was heavily featured in the official promo for the episode, so this could be Torres’ highlight.
Another big plot point in the winter premiere of “NCIS” involves a case centered on Parker’s favorite bakery, whose owner is being blackmailed.
There’s no indication as to why this happened, but Parker has proven to be resourceful and down to earth, so we have no doubt he’ll get to the bottom of it and bring the perpetrators to justice.
NCIS is still delivering solid cases
No case is easy to predict when it comes to NCIS, as there are always plenty of twists and turns to lose track of the solution. We expect more of the same here.

Maybe at some point in the story they’ll guess she’s up to no good.
Either that, or they kept her at NCIS headquarters so those eager to take her down wouldn’t have a chance.
There’s a lot to look forward to in the midseason premiere. “NCIS” has largely cut down on suspense because stories in recent years no longer require them.
That said, we already have various theories about what will happen in the second half of NCIS Season 22, including a surprising romance between Knight and Parker.
The series has thrived for so long because it focused on characterization rather than plot twists, so we’re heading into another great episode.
