Universal Pictures shared some of the latest news from Jurassic World: Rebornwhich is caused by Gareth Edwards (godzilla, creator).
This film is just the beginning of a new story they hope to tell across multiple films. Edwards recently told Entertainment Weekly:
“I can’t speak for Universal, but in a way, it does feel like a new trilogy. I’m not sure what their plans are, but it feels like the beginning of a whole new chapter in the series. .
He went on to say that the film is “a huge love letter to Steven Spielberg and his early films.” He explained: “There are moments in this movie that remind me of Jaws. It’s like a greatest hits in all these aspects of his movies that I loved as a kid. It’s essentially a journey across the island. A little adventure, a survival story, really.
Well, that sounds interesting! I love Spielberg’s early films and if this one really captures that tone…great!

The official plot synopsis reads: “Earth’s ecology proved largely unsuitable for dinosaurs. Those that remained lived in an isolated equatorial environment in a climate similar to the one in which they once thrived. The Tropical Biosphere Three of the largest creatures in the world hold the key to a drug that could bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humanity.
The story also has a twist in that Zola’s team receives a distress call from a civilian ship that capsized due to the attack.
as a fan jurassic park movie, I really hope this movie captures the original magic of Spielberg.
