FX releases new trailer Noah HawleyThe highly anticipated Alien series Alien: Earthits slogan is “Mother Earth is looking forward to 2120.”
In the series: “When a mysterious spaceship crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sidney Chandler), a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a big discovery that puts them face to face with the greatest threat on Earth.
“As crash rescue crews searched for survivors in the wreckage, they encountered a mysterious predatory life form more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.
“As this new threat emerges, searchers must fight for survival, and their choices about this discovery could change the Earth as they know it.”
The story takes place thirty years before the incident Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic alien and a few years ago Prometheus. The series will find the characters “caught in the conflict of the beginnings of artificial intelligence and the competition between developers and users.”
Hawley has previously said of the story: “It takes place on Earth in the future. At this point, I would describe it as Edison versus Westinghouse versus Tesla. Someone is going to have a monopoly on electricity. We just don’t know who. .
He continued: “In the movie, we have this Weyland-Yutani company, which is obviously also developing artificial intelligence – but what if there are other companies trying to look at immortality in a different way, through robotic augmentation or transhuman downloads? Those technologies Which one will win?
The series will “blend the timeless horror of the first Alien movie with the non-stop action of the second installment for a thrilling thrill ride that will have people on the edge of their seats.”
Hawley also said: “It is an amazing feeling to witness an alien in the wilds of the earth. The thought of it moving among us is really chilling, so I can’t tell you under what circumstances you will see it. But you’ll see it – you’ll lock the door that night.
He added: “What was really interesting for me was actually interacting with the creature, bringing some of my own ideas into the design while not touching the outline, because that’s sacrosanct.
“But as far as we know, no matter what the host is, there are elements that determine what the final creature is. I just wanted to play around a little bit and make it as scary as it should be.
The show also stars stars Alex Lowther (The end of the fucking world) as the male protagonist, a soldier named CJ, Samuel Brunk (black mirror) plays another protagonist named Boy Kavalier, an executive. Other actors include Essie Davis (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mystery) as Lady Sylvia, Timothy Olyphantand Adarsh Gourav (white tiger) as slight.
