Memphis rapper NLE Choppa’s “Or What?” ” enters the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Top 10 for the second time, tying him with his best ranking of 21 songs. In April 2023, “Slut Me Out” also reached No. 9.
Hip-hop group 41, comprised of Brooklyn rappers Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter and TaTa, debut a hit R&B/hip-hop song co-released by the artists. The three songs each previously charted on the breakout single “Bent”, which peaked at No. 37 in December 2023.
Social media users tweeted “Or what?” The song has gone viral over the past few weeks, largely due to a TikTok video in which users played the song’s “Is we f–kin’ or not?” lyrics. The tune has been used in more than 170,000 clips on the social platform to date, with the recent surge pushing the tune to a new peak of No. 2 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart this week.
Elsewhere, “Or What?” went 21-6 on the Hot Rap Songs chart and 91-52 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its second week.
