Scott L. Schwartz, wrestler turned actor, best known for playing Bruiser on The Wrestler. oceanof eleven The movie series, is dead. He is 65 years old.
Schwartz’s wife, Misty, told Schwartz that he died of congestive heart failure on Nov. 26 at his home in Covington, Louisiana. The Hollywood Reporter.

Scott L. Schwartz was born on March 16, 1959 in Philadelphia. He started out as a professional wrestler under the names “Israeli Commando” and “Giant David” before heading to Hollywood to work as a stuntman and actor.
His wife noted that he enjoyed his time on screen and in the ring but was “most proud of his charity work,” including receiving the Glass Slipper Award from CHOC, the Children’s Healthcare Foundation. David Beckham and Gwen Stefani were also winners.
“Most people associate Scott with movies, but those who knew him know him as a happy man full of life, a loving person, a foodie and a lover of travel,” Misty wrote. Misty wrote, adding that he “truly loves life and everyone he meets along the way.”
Schwartz is survived by his wife Misty, children Angela and Adam, mother-in-law Brenda, cousins Sherry and Duwayne, and Aunt Penny.
