Owen Wilson Will star alongside comedian Matt Leff In the upcoming R-rated father-son comedy Rolling loudly.
The film is inspired by a true story from the hip-hop festival of the same name, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary.
Rolling loudly “An overprotective father (Wilson) makes the worst parenting decision of his life when he sneaks his 13-year-old son into the world’s largest hip-hop festival.”
This triggers “a chaotic adventure with his reckless colleague (Rife) and an eccentric festival volunteer as they navigate wild crowds, security and their own family dynamics.”
This movie comes from the writer and director Jeremy Garlick (American high school) and began production last weekend at a music festival in Miami.
Sounds like it could be a fun comedy! It’s also exciting to see R-rated comedies making a comeback. I just love the bold, unapologetic humor for adult audiences and how they blend outrageous antics with heartfelt storytelling.
