Phish will be returning to their happy place in December, where they will be setting up shop at Madison Square Garden in New York City from December 28th to 31st. The jam band legends announced the show in an Instagram post on Tuesday (October 1), noting that the visit will bring their total MSG shows to date to 87.
The ticket application period for the four shows is now open and will run until October 7 at noon ET. Full pre-sale will begin on October 11 at noon ET.
The band is preparing for its year-end shows and will perform three shows at New York’s MVP Arena from October 25th to 27th, with proceeds going to singer Trey Anastasio’s Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program. The facility is a personal project for the singer-guitarist, who has been sober for 17 years. In late 2023, he opened the facility in his native Vermont, where social workers helped him after a 2006 arrest for heroin possession and drunken driving.
“Some people take longer than others. There is a staff member who will assess your loved one’s condition, and some people come in 20, 30 days, others may take 90 days,” Anastasio Speaking of “The Divided Sky”. “It depends on your individual situation. Some people may take longer, and that’s totally fine.
Earlier this year, Phish became the second resident band at the immersive Sphere venue in Las Vegas, following the building’s first resident band, U2, performing jaw-dropping performances across four shows.
