PinkPantheress is gearing up to return this year. The 23-year-old British singer/songwriter born Victoria Walker has canceled all remaining 2024 tour dates in August, including plans for Olivia Rodrigo and Coldplay (Coldplay) and her own Capable of Love tour to focus on her “physical health and wellness.”
“Oh we’re back again #2025,” “Boy is a liar, Pt. 2,” the singer wrote on the X, along with two photos of her working on a laptop in what looks like a home studio. “I miss you [heart emoji] Thank you for waiting for me.
Since PP issued her statement in August (in which she wrote), she has been largely out of the spotlight. “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I regret to announce that I will be unable to continue performing live for the remainder of the year in order to focus on my physical health and overall well-being. It appears that I have reached a wall that I am struggling to penetrate. This will include my GUTS tour, Field Day, Summer Sonic, FORM, III Points and Australia/New Zealand shows.
Although the news was disappointing, Black Panther promised fans at the time that she would return to the stage when she felt better. “I want to thank all of you, as well as my touring team and Olivia, for giving me the platform to perform some super fun shows,” she said. “I’m sorry to disappoint anyone and can only hope that we can be there for each other once I’m healthy again.”
Although new music has yet to be officially announced, the singer appears to have been hard at work releasing her second album, promising “new music coming soon” on Instagram last August.
PinkPantheress came to prominence while in college in 2021 when she released the single “Break It Off” on TikTok, which led to her 2022 breakout single “Boy’s a Liar,” which was later remixed with Ice Spice version won the title in 2022 on 3 advertising billboard Hot 100.
