A Los Angeles man was sentenced to 31 years to life in prison after being convicted of sending his then-17-year-old son to shoot PnB Rock in 2022, ABC7 reported.

Freddie Lee Trone, 42, was sentenced in court on Monday (September 23) after being found guilty of one count of murder, two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery in August.

PnB Rock (real name Rakim Allen) was dining with his girlfriend at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Central Los Angeles in September 2022 when Trone’s son approached him, attempted to rob him of his jewelry with an weapon, and hit Rock with a stick, causing his death .
