Daily Review 1/9 Transcript
The Daily Roundup you’re listening to is part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in this Thursday, the big day is coming up. In this daily roundup, we’ll discuss what’s going to happen in a few hours. We will also discuss weather issues that may be covered in this podcast.
I’m going to talk about what’s going on in Los Angeles. The first episode of G.I. Joe aired last night, with three eliminations. We’ll talk about that episode. We also discuss The Challenge finale, which aired last night. Additionally, Rachel Lindsay and Brian Abasolo’s divorce is finalized. We got some details.
Rachel is going to have to pay a lot of coins for this, and we’ll talk about all that later. So let’s start with this. The fourth podcast will be released on the 25th at 9:15 AM ET on my YouTube channel and in your podcast feed, and it will be Bachelor Data, Susannah Summers. We’re going to talk about this week’s drop, the official launch of Women’s Grants, we’re going to talk about Women’s Grants, their place among their followers, anything she’s noticed, and we’re also going to talk about Women’s Grants Season, the lack of promotion for Grants Season , lack of promotion, not just of the show itself, but just.
How far behind were they in Grant’s eight-goal season. In fact, this is going to be the shortest Bachelor season I think in 10 or 15 years, but I think it’s also going to be the norm going forward because of the College Football Playoff and how it’s been extended into January. There’s a lot of content about Suzanne on my YouTube channel Reality, Steve 24 at 15 AM EST, check it out as well as your podcast feed.
I do want to talk about what’s going on in California and Los Angeles. Thoughts and prayers obviously go out to everyone. I know it doesn’t make much sense. I’ve done what I can, which is donate, and whether you donate or not, there are tons of donation links out there. Please make sure you donate the correct link.
I did the Red Cross. I also personally donated some stuff that I saw and again I felt bad for it and obviously you would be happy to help in any way. This is very, very serious damage. Look at your Twitter or Instagram feed, it looks like the movie Independence Day.
I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing and how many people had lost their homes. Well whatever you are. You know, it does, and obviously the people who are getting attention for losing their homes are not just celebrities. From what I know so far, Mandy Moore has lost her home. Billy Crystal and his wife lost their home.
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag lost their homes. Others. These are the first things that come to mind and I know what I’ve read, but if you could help in any way that would be great. One of the things that really disturbs me besides seeing these photos and images is the politicization of it, the politicization of it is just we can’t talk about who is at fault here and how this could have been done and why it’s like let’s not even use it now Worry.
Not when that happens and the fire spreads, we don’t need to insult people. This is where we are now. That’s what people want. Unfortunately, that’s what we got. I mean, every video and picture I see on Twitter of the fires burning, there’s a tweet politicizing it. It’s just, it’s untrue, why in a moment like this, you have to talk about who did it wrong.
what is it? It doesn’t matter now. Nothing can change what is happening by complaining about things not getting done. It’s just very, very frustrating to say the least. You know, what is that, what does that accomplish? Do you know? If someone could tell me what is the positive side when houses burn down, people lose their lives, families lose their homes?
Tell me a positive message that might appear on social media that tells everyone who is at fault and what should happen. Now what good does this do? You know, very, very frustrating. As for myself, when I started my daily roundup in July 2022, I didn’t miss a single day.
Every Monday through Friday, you’ll receive a daily roundup. Every Monday to Friday in January 2023, you will receive the daily sports bulletin. You can also receive the weekly podcast on Thursdays. I said the only way, obviously short of something tragically significant, is that I will always have a podcast for you guys.
I’m just putting this up for tomorrow because, if you didn’t know, apparently Dallas is going to get a pretty bad winter storm in the next few days. It’s not like that. It’s not Easter either, but that’s not what Dallas is used to. You know, we got snow. I’ve been here 18 years, you know, I can’t even tell you, we haven’t had snow for three or four years and then we’re going to have a, we’re going to have a winter where we’re going to get a few days of snow.
Regardless, we’re expecting two to five inches of warmer temperatures over the next two days, but Saturday is expected to reach the mid-40s. So whatever happens should start this morning and end tomorrow night. Then from Saturday into next Wednesday, temperatures should be in the low 40s.
So whatever happens, whatever snow falls, it melts very quickly. But be prepared, they say. Don’t go out, the roads will be icy. There may also be a power outage. Wi-Fi service may be interrupted. So I’m thinking, oh my gosh, I’ve never had an experience like this since starting the daily roundup from July 22, 2020.
I never had my wife. I went to places where I couldn’t upload podcasts. So I just put it out there. I don’t want to curse it, but I guess it’s possible. So for whatever reason, if there’s no daily roundup tomorrow, just know it’s because my wife and I were out for X amount of time. Now that I have my wife, I go out a lot, but usually it’s an hour, sometimes two hours, I think three or four hours is the most I’ve ever gone out.
They usually get up and running quickly. That’s what I’m looking at. I just wanted to update people on what’s going on. so. I don’t think this is going to be an issue, but I know that if for whatever reason there isn’t a daily roundup tomorrow, it’s because I don’t have Wi-Fi service. OK Rachel, Lindsay and Brian Abasolo finalized their divorce yesterday.
All major entertainment media have obtained the documents, and basically we also got some information from them. Brian will keep the couple’s Miami apartment. Rachel will keep their home in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. The pair will also keep their wedding rings and Breitling watches. Lindsay will keep her engagement ring from the Bachelorette.
There are also paintings and photos by artist Jad Najjar, okay? Their vehicles will also be divided among them. Brian will keep that 2021 Honda Accord, and Rachel will keep her 2023 Porsche. She was better at that. However, this is where the big shots come in. In addition to dividing their estate, Rachel was ordered to pay Brian an equal payment of $500,000 under the settlement agreement.
She has given him $39,771 in spousal support. So this will be deducted from 500, 000. is 3%.
interest rate. Once Brian got this, or I guess because he got this, he gave up any rights to any further underground support, just like Rachel. This is where we are now. That seems a bit heavy, right? But I don’t know how this thing works. I really don’t remember. He asked for 15 grand a month or 16 grand a month.
She came back with 11 and the judge basically said, you give him 13,237. By next week she will owe him 230,000. It’s clear that Rachel is doing a great job for herself. If she could scratch a check for 230 G. 10 days or 7 days later. What day is it today? Days nine and eight.
She had to give them a check for 230 grand, but next January she owed him two checks for 30 grand and they were screwed. It looks like they’ve dried each other’s hands, they’re both owned, and they’re both moving on. But this came out yesterday. Again, I really don’t know how the divorce thing works. I don’t know where they came up with that number and why they decided, maybe he just said, well I don’t want to ask you for spousal support every year for X years, just give me 500 grand, let’s call it To be flat.
I have no idea. Why does she still owe him so much money? Been married for three or four years. So, but again, I don’t really know how it works. Maybe that’s it, maybe it’s very low. Maybe she could get a deal out of it. I have no idea. This is what she owes. Next week it will be 230 G, and one year from now (January 7, 2026) it will be 230 G.
