When was the last time we had a new dynamic book: III raised Kanan?
It feels like 47 years since we saw the release of Power Book III: Rising Kanan Season 3 Episode 10, and I won’t lie to you. I need everything I need to do in the bloody ending, need a refresher course, so this hour is a blessing in disguise.
Rather than picking up the stuff, the series took another route, taking us back to timely time and relive all the moments we missed.
Given that we’ve been living in these events, I’m not sure what the decision to jump three months ago was, right? If they show us new things now, why not include the beginning?
Well, the answer was very easy when Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 4 Episode 1’s first images, we got a unique point of living.
Obviously, we all know that uniqueness is alive, but the most fascinating part of the whole hour is seeing how he pulls himself out of the woods and then eventually manages to send it to that abandoned warehouse in three months.
We all know that what is unique is a warrior, but when he is willing to accept that valid call, he is possessed by the spirit of betrayal and revenge. He was lucky that someone was there to answer the phone because he wouldn’t make the phone calls.
It was fun early on, and it was a welcome addition to this season. He was motivated primarily for his own benefit, but he was also unique for the only reason that the two of them should be an interesting little duo.
For beginners, this is not the same uniqueness as we have known in the past.
Unique people are always associated with his business and get what he deserves, but when he and Lark start their little relationship, we also see his walls break down because the two have more in common than ever.
Lark often stays unique in Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 distance, and the unique person seems to be more invested, in a sense you can see how he feels better than Raq in his behavior and words.
When the unique “death”, Lark has a minute or two to mourn what could have been, but she also doesn’t stay on it and keep it moving, which might be the tagline of her life if you think about it.
With the unique healing, you can see any softness in his heart disappear, for good reason. His own brother tried to kill him, and that was a pain that would never go away.
One thing that remains unique is his stubbornness. Regardless of preaching to him early, he was trying to maintain the attitude that suited him best.
Not only for his health, but just for the reason he was changed, because such serious head injury would be like this.
As he slowly recovers his strength, you see him growing firmly from anger. Just spend a few small pieces of information about Lak and Kanan to take him on a mature vengeance journey.
And, it’s interesting how easy it is to hear something and then hop around every conclusion in the book to sustain bloodthirsty anger?
What’s unique is not his right idea, but he also wants to go back to Ronnie, regardless of whether he thinks other people are responsible for what happened to him. Unfortunately, once he started hearing the way they moved, Lak and Kanan were trapped.
In a perfect world, Unique will go straight into Lark, and they will make a plan together, but who can uniquely trust?
His own brother wants him to die, so why does he think that his surprise reward will be welcome when he is not out of the picture, when they get something on their own?
It was told early on that unique waits were waiting in the shadows because while he seemed to be down, he did end up having the upper hand. He can move silently, find weaknesses, and extinguish when opportunities arise.
I’m curious if he can really wait long enough for his existence to know.
It will be shocking when Lark inevitably finds unique not only the competitors, especially after this hour’s decline, not only she’s back.
Replaying some situations last season was crazy, knowing that Lark got pregnant during this period and doing something about what to do and how she feels about things in her internal battles.
It was heartbreaking to hear her tell the nurse that she had been a nurse in the past before she had an abortion. Lark had to endure and experience it alone, and when you start thinking about all aspects of her life, you start to learn more about why she is what she is.
But even knowing all of these things can’t justify her behavior, because Lark did something chaotic.
Raq does everything he can to survive and protect the people she loves, but at the same time, she takes many agents away. She created dynamics where the person she loved distrusts or respects her and eats her whatever she says.
She told Kanan that she would love him anyway, but most likely see Kanan as another way to try to manipulate him because he had been unable to trust her for so long because of her behavior.
This relationship between Lak and Kanan will always be at the forefront, and this hour gives a deeper look at what Lak deals with as he tries to lower Ronnie’s actions.
Lark is such a peculiar character because for all her flaws, this woman also has something related to the male-dominated world that they survive in any way necessary. The series did a great job of showing her aspects and detailing her complexity.
She is not a hero, but she is also a complicated villain, like almost everyone on this show.
It’s a bit disappointing not to go straight into Ronnie and Howard’s deaths. Still, there are some interesting things that should reverberate throughout the rest of the season, including the little hustle and bustle of Marvin and Stefano.
Marvin has made great strides in every aspect of his life since Power Book III: Improve Kanan Season 1. Professionally speaking, he became more reliable, and Stefano saw and exploited it.
I went all out on Marvin and Lou-Lou to exert independence and no longer allowed Lark to be the dominant figure in their lives. You know he works with Stefano, not telling Raq that he will bite, even if Marvin has the right to do what he wants to do!
Lark doesn’t like to get out of the loop, and she doesn’t want Marvin to mess up the business plan she has made with Stefano.
Here are some interesting brews, and I’ll keep an eye on how the dynamics change between three of them, as we have some added context.
Elsewhere, the hours revolve around unique recovery and see things that everyone hasn’t seen in the last three months, but if we’re honest, it’s not very interesting.
Jesse returns aren’t exciting, and the thing that ignites the box is nice to see her support from Isa and Nicole’s father, but Canan is studying the history of his grandfather is surprisingly fascinating because of how Joyce’s relationship with the child breaks down.
When she hangs out with Kanan, her biological child is different, probably because her father is gone, and Marvin is the one who intervenes in caring for the child.
Was it simple at that time and inside the family? Surely not, maybe more exploration will be done, as Joyce’s sick family moments and conversations should be more.
Lou-Lou is still out there, Joyce’s illness will force them all to reconcile with their past and to modify it in the present, which may be good for them.
The family has always been at the heart of power, and the Thomas family has been torn apart for some time. Interestingly, seeing how this event changes their things, even assigning them again.
Everything else you need to know
- Jessica is not offensive, but she and Lou-Lou are a memorable couple and I can’t see how her return to the narrative will be now. Although the famous situation is not clear, so there may be a story there.
- Nicole’s father has been the biggest fan of jukeboxes, one of the most wholesome things to do on the show. I just know that it would be hard for him to see what she ended up becoming.
- Unique and Lark always hits as enemies, but they are also lovers’ business. I’m not sure if I feel sorry for seeing them fight again or for the softness disappearing.
- I wonder if seeing Howard at the police department helps kill him, too. Whatever he said and did, part of her would not be trusted by his profession.
Well, we’re finally back, electric fans!
It’s a weird but clever way to reintroduce everything and get us on the road this season!
