director David F. Sandberg (“Lights Out”, “Annabelle Creations”, “Shazam”) has been deep into production on the film adaptation of the hit horror video game until dawnand completed filming over the weekend.
The director shared a photo from the set on social media with the following caption: “We held on until dawn. That’s how #UntilDawnMovie ended.
As a game fan, I have actually been looking forward to this movie. I’m excited to see Sandberg return to horror, this will be a great project for him.
movie star Ella Rubin (your thoughts), Michael Cimino (I’ve never had), Ryu Ji Young (expat) and odessa azion (Gourd’s Fierce ghosts chasing ghosts). Peter Stroman (Joker John Wick 2) will continue to play the role in the video game Until Dawn, while Maya Mitchell and Belmont Camelli will also appear in the movie.
The screenwriter of this movie is Blair Butler (invitation letter) and Gary Dauberman (Salem Lot) writes the script. The film is said to be “an R-rated love letter to the horror genre.”
Sandberg previously said in a statement: “After ‘Scary,’ I’ve been itching to do a horror movie again.” lights out and Annabelle: Creationa film that explores the many great sub-genres of horror to create the scariest experience possible.
“It captures the essence of the game but adds new characters, provides newcomers with a great introduction to the independent world, and offers something new that fans of the game will love.”
The 2015 game is set one year after the death and disappearance of twin sisters Hannah and Beth, and follows eight friends who return to the mountain cabin of the parents of their friend Josh, the brother of the missing sisters.
Soon after arriving, the friends realized they might not be the only ones on the mountain. What follows is a fun and chilling mystery involving a mysterious killer and a cannibal Wendigo.
