Rapper Plies files copyright infringement lawsuit against GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and Soulja Boy, claiming GloRilla’s want to be A song featuring Megan thee Stallion, as well as a remix featuring Cardi B, plagiarized one of his 2008 songs.

Also named as defendants are universal music group and its labels endoscope and collectivewhich releases want to bealso Colley Park Musicreleased Soulja Boy’s pretty boy bootySoulja Boy’s publishing and promotion company SODMGand Megan Starling’s company Spice Girls Music Production.
“After learning of the infringement through communications from Plaintiff’s legal representatives, Defendant failed to take corrective action, including providing compensation, credit, or otherwise resolving the matter,” the complaint states.
The lawsuit seeks “a certain amount of damages,” as well as court and attorney fees.
This isn’t the first copyright lawsuit for many of the artists involved.
