As mentioned in yesterday’s Daily Review , I had the opportunity to interview Jason Tartick on a podcast this week by a PR firm. I get a lot of things, a company is promoting someone to come to my podcast and talk about certain things, but a lot of them are non-reality TV-related, and I’ve often never heard of them. But obviously, I’m interested in Jason. The email said Jason worked with a company that promoted something in finance and if I wanted to be interested in him for a 15-minute interview, but I couldn’t talk about past relationships, the Jersey coast or any past controversy. These are unlimited. My idea was immediately to take this into account and it took me more than 15 minutes. I don’t do 15 minutes of interviews. I just felt it was worth the time or guest time because we couldn’t cover enough time in such a short time. Well, they came back to me yesterday and said they would give me 45 minutes of Jason with the same parameters. So I’m going to record with him today. In the beginning, we will get rid of the promotion and then dig into other topics.
So for all the first question people is “Why don’t you ask about his date/love life or anything about Kaitlyn” and now you know. While I certainly know that people want to hear these things, I have to follow these parameters and I get it. That being said, you know my position during the interview: Everyone has a story. Whether you love Jason or hate him because you love Kaitlyn, you can’t tell me he doesn’t have an interesting story. He did. So try to remove any personal bias and realize that this person has built a brand that is completely separate from the Bachelor franchise, and few people can do it. And because I’m interviewing Jason, it doesn’t mean I’m #teamjason on #TeamKaitlyn now. It has nothing to do with this. First, I’m promoting Kaitlyn’s podcast today with Madison on my pod. There are two more, if I can, I will put Kaitlyn on the podcast tomorrow. All I know is that her brand is much bigger than mine, and I doubt she will come to me honestly. And she never asked me to do it to her. So, don’t have some kind of debate. I’m not #team here. Especially because it’s not like I have Jason, so he can trash Caitlyn. She won’t even talk about it. This is the biggest drawback to me of how social media can change things. If you talk to someone, it will automatically mean you are standing by their side, or you are #Team. Not so. Jason Tartick is not just Kaitlyn’s ex. If you just want to define him this way, I feel like you’re just trolling or Kaitlyn fans, not objectively. There are a lot of other things to talk to Jason, and today I will do my best to record with him. The podcast will run tomorrow as episode 434. Looking forward to it.
Yesterday’s Dondi plot was so outrageous and numb that I couldn’t even understand. Does Philip know how the game works? Why he might hand over his game to David and let him master the power of the game, hope David won’t send him home. Really? $75,000 is worth it for you, not literally 1) Get immunity in the next temple and get a place in the last three 2) Choose who is sent home immediately, and 3) Choose who plays the banker. Philip paid all this for $75,000? The second Joe revealed that the $2.75 million suitcase was the highest suitcase, and if you were Philip, there was no discussion. You drop, take the case and control the power in the game. What a stupid move to put your own game in the hands of others. Honestly, I think Philip is confused. I can’t be a debate. But, what do I know?

Hey Steve,
Just listened to your podcast with Lauren and I love it. It’s frustrating that Dave never really gave a relationship a chance.
But I have some common free litigation issues.
Do you know if Netflix once gave this reason, why do they have to wait so long for the air after filming? Lauren gives a different perspective and says she’s happy that the play is far from the shoot to overcome it. But for successful couples, it is very difficult to have to not share your love publicly for a full year. I don’t know why they have been so long. The only thing I can think of is because they aired two seasons in one calendar year? But then again, the same is true for the Bachelor’s franchise (no Bachelors this year), and their turnover time is only about 4 months. Yes, I don’t know why they waited for so long.
What happens after the exposure? I’d love to know where they went/what they did after the initial reveal. When will they meet again? Lauren said there were a few days between the revelation and the escape. Will they have partying during that time? Can they sit on a flight to Xiaoyaoyou? Will all couples take the same flight?

Comment: Since I’m still relatively new to the franchise, I don’t know the details, but I can find out. According to Lauren’s answer, it appears that there are only a few days between the end of the pod shooting and the trip to Honduras. But that’s not the case seem Just like you saw your fiancé during that time. Hell, I don’t know you’re even flying to Honduras with them. My guess is where you can see them, but I’m not sure. Maybe women fly with men and men, and then you won’t meet Honduras with them.
I did find out that one thing I knew I was asked about in a past reader email was that participation in the pods all happened on the last day and they just showed up. So no, Joey and Monica were not engaged after 2-3 days. They were engaged at the end of the pod like everyone else. The show just decided to showcase their engagement first and early in the process. This makes sense. While we all think it is ridiculous to engage with someone you have never seen after 10 days, it is even more ridiculous to just 2-3 days later.

If you were asked to appear in a gaming show to win a 50K award, would you say no? I mean these are not or B-level celebrities. I’m sure most of them are on air time and even just for the experience.
Comment: The first thing we have to get out of the situation, I have zero interest in reality shows. Never.
This question is to answer my opinion on the traitor contestants, winning only $50,000, and they need to raise the stakes. Here’s the thing: 3 of the four winners of the Traitor: Gaby, Dolores and Dylan have over 1 million followers. So no, I promise they don’t care about the fact that they won $50,000. They are more interested in the title of Traitor Championship and are only attracting attention from the media. If the entire traitor was ordinary people, would they refuse if they knew the prize was only $50,000? Probably not. But this is not a show. Since the ending, I have seen many people think that the work and content creators have made the same sentiment as me: The bonus is a joke. If you are doing all the celebrity actors, it’s worth the bonus. Especially because we know this is the top five on the Peacock. They can definitely increase their bonuses.
And if I were going to be a reality show, I would never choose to have at least $500,000 in bonuses. Given the fact that your life may become after the fact, it doesn’t seem worth it. At least it won me a lot of money. And I want to play a game, I know there is only one winner, you know what the prize is. No other chance.

Steve, the seat map thing is really fun! They try to be like Bravo. But when it comes to party shows on Bravo, the seat map actually matters. VIPs are always the closest people to Andy Cohen!
Comment: Yes, so I was told. But they are two completely different shows, which is why the bachelor seat map is released, and anything else does have zero correlation except the opposite order when it is eliminated. I mean, I just did it from head to head, but I guess there isn’t a single person in the history of this show that was eliminated in episodes 1-3 and ended up sitting in the first line telling all.

Big fans, I love listening to your podcast. So, I’m sure you might get an email about this, but have you heard about what happened between Grant and his last choice? You probably caught it, too, just as he looked absolutely ruined after showing the preview of the ending. Just as he looks like he’s going to cry, I think it would be like a laugh if someone is happy to get engaged? Just curious if you heard anything. This kind of British Columbia makes me stand out the most.
Comment: I addressed this in today’s daily review. But the short answer is no. Nothing was heard. All I know is who he chose at the end of the filming. After painting, find something hit or missed. Sometimes I do this and notify everyone before ATFR, sometimes I don’t. I heard nothing about this season, but I know a lot of people are judging the meaning of Grant’s facial expressions to something. Maybe they do it, maybe not. But it seems like any narrative in your mind that you can have a case for his identity.

First of all, thank you for always ruining the Bachelor Season for us – you make the season more fun – you are awesome.
OK – What’s going on with the custody situation Deanna Pappas hates? It’s a weird DV situation, restrictive orders, allegations of alcohol abuse, and he makes his mom claim to be an alcoholic. Stephen looks dark…think? Could she be on your podcast again? Does anyone you know in the Bachelor know about this situation W Stephen? I covered this in yesterday’s daily review. We don’t know a lot, bc dv and kids are involved, because we don’t know what’s going on, so people shouldn’t have any black and white measures to do about it. All I know is based on Deanna’s words about the situation, and why she was arrested confused me. So there are a lot we don’t know about that until more information is released, we should probably stick to any strong opinions.
Are Grant and Juliana still together? What did you see/heard? None of them heard.
Have you had a chance to get the former Bachelor Hangilian on the podcast? I love her…it will be fun to hear her ED story now…I can reach out at some point.
Is it possible for a girl who runner-up in Zach to earn a bachelor’s degree in heaven? Gaby? I think she has a boyfriend. At least she has done something recently. I don’t know if they’re still together. She’s on almost famous podcasts today, so maybe she’s solved it.
Who do you think of this season (Grant’s Girl) this season, do you think this year will be a paradise? Maybe Carolina? Luita? Is there anyone else in the old season? What about Jenn Trann’s season? I think you can follow the list of people who last for a long time and may just be pencils, but we will never know until they show up on the beach and go down the steps.
Have you heard news about former bachelor Meredith recently? I really hope she is fine.
