I’ve always been curious Joe BernthalThe Frank Castle/Punisher storyline in Marvel Daredevil: Rebirth series and how it will proceed.
We knew the Punisher would appear in Season 1, but according to a new report, we’ve learned that his role in the story will play a bigger role in Season 2.
During a Q&A session with Cosmic Circus Discord members, industry scooper Alex Perez said that The Punisher will play a larger role in the Marvel series’ second season.
It’s been explained that The Punisher and villain Bullseye will “appear in Season 2” Daredevil: Rebirth”. He then elaborated, “But it’s my understanding that the character of The Punisher will be explored more in season 2 than he was in season 1 because from what I’ve described, the show feels more like a story for him. Foreshadowing to continue in the next season.
I hope this all keeps the Punisher franchise going, as I’d love to see his story continue beyond Daredevil in the MCU.
Bernthal has previously spoken about the show, saying, “I think if you’re a fan of the show that you’ve seen before, you’re going to like this one too. I think we’re just taking it a step further.”

Head of Production at Marvel Television, Streaming and Animation Brad Winderbaumpreviously said of the series that it will look at Daredevil and Kingpin’s nemesis in a new “political” light.
Winderbaum compared the show to X-Men ’97: “‘Daredevil’ is incredible. It’s in some ways the same as X-Men ’97 Because it’s reviving something that fans love. But it’s taking it in a new direction.
He went on to tease how things have changed, saying, “These characters have matured and the universe is different than it was before. Things have changed, society has changed. Matt and Wilson have changed.
“Their characters will clash in ways we’ve never seen before. It’s no longer enough to try to murder each other. This is a political game.
The new collection is reportedly inspired by Demon’s Reign The storyline explores the power dynamics between the Kingpin and the vigilantes who confront him. The story revolves around the power struggle between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk, who later became the mayor of New York.
