New year, same Rihanna. With 2025 less than a day away, the superstar has already struck out in one of her signature comebacks, blocking a troll on Instagram on Wednesday (January 1) who was demanding new music and insulting her.
The exchange was confirmed in Ri’s latest post, a video of herself celebrating with friends at midnight on New Year’s Eve. “You guys, I haven’t had a drink in a whole year,” she excitedly tells the camera in the video.
“New year, new me,” the Fenty mogul captioned the post.
However, one person in the comments seemed bent on pouring cold water on her march. “We wanted an album on the forehead,” they wrote.
But Rihanna being Rihanna, the “Umbrella” singer quickly let him down. “Listen Lorenzo!” she replied. “You’re not cute enough to call me by my black name, you dizzy bastard!”
