This is a game-by-play review of Rookie Season 7 Episode 9. We are open with James’ bleeding and ambulance.
Celina called paramedics and police and told them that James had been shot.
Harper and Lopez talk in the locker room when Gray comes in and tells them that James has been shot.
Meanwhile, in the hospital, James is fighting for his life for the emergency room. He had multiple gunshot wounds and the bullet was still placed inside.
Harper played next to James, and Celina told Lopez that Bradford and Chen had a bad gunshot wound.
Nolan looks guilty and hesitant to share that he sees the two of them kissing when Nyla tries to figure out the fact that Kylie and she is also shot. When he was with Harper for a moment, she said James’ wound looked terrible and she didn’t see anyone survived the injury.
Nolan told Harper that Angela was the main investigator. He wanted to tell her more, she could tell him to back off, but he didn’t.
Wesley shows up and hugs Harper, who wants to figure out more. Meanwhile, Lopez figures out who the shooter is.
When Angela eliminated Gray, Wesley and Nolan walked in, and Wesley said there was another motivation, jealousy. Angela doesn’t buy it, but Nolan tells Wesley the kiss he saw, and Angela is still in denial.
She asked Nolan how long the kiss had been, and she was frustrated by the information he had kept for hours during the wildfire.
Gray told Nolan that he could not tell Harper what he saw because Harper was a suspect because of jealous motive.
Bailey showed up to ask James and checked on Harper, but she passed out and now she must get medical assistance in the hospital.
Grey talks to Harper about the stipulation that she is the suspect, and she accepts that. She struggled, telling Gray about their tough times that they could hardly see each other over the past few weeks. Gray supports and comforts her.
Nolan mission Celina cared for Bailey who stood out from the water.
Bailey took the opportunity to check out Celina to see what it felt like after witnessing the shooting.
Bradford and Chen had a vision of the suspect and chased him. They end up chasing with the suspect.
They almost had an accident, losing their visual effects on the suspect, and they barely missed a senior lady and a group of people. The suspect met an old lady and continued to move forward. They have to stop and help.
Bradford and Lucy felt intimate because they had to take care of the lady because they missed the driver.
Meanwhile, as part of the investigation, Gray and Nolan had to search in Harper’s home. Nolan found evidence that James was a friend of an anti-police activist/extremist named Leonard who had an arrest warrant for burning police cars and other things.
It was a bigger problem for Harper because she had a man at home.
They told Angela, but she couldn’t tell Harper, she wasn’t happy with it.
They tried to make Harper and Connor somehow have a relationship because she arrested him at some point.
Grey faces his superiors and he talks about how the department’s compromise might be.
Bailey, who was talking to her colleagues at the hospital, realized that the two people would smoke and burn due to acid, warned that they might have drug surgery or something. Celina is excited that she might have her first Great Depression due to a rookie probation.
The head of the department talked to Harper, showing her photos of James with Leonard and raised her suspicions about James’ involvement in the criminal and what he might have held from Harper. Harper told her that when James woke up she could ask all of this and that she still made an impression that it was an innocent bystander, and that Sagittarius was indeed behind Kelly.
She also asked her union representative Nolan, but the woman told her that Nolan was the one who also saw James and Kylie kissing and shocked Harper.
Gray walks into Vivian and talks with Harper and pulls Vivian out of the room. He violated the rules for talking to Harper without reading her rights and other things.
Vivian claimed that they had to be proactive after the scandal with corrupt police and told Gray that he had to put administrative leave.
Harper eavesdropped on her badge and gun. She asked Gray James about having an affair, and he honestly replied that he knew nothing about it except the kiss Nolan saw.
The case of Chen and Bradford is difficult, and Chen talks about the death of the woman. She sympathizes with her daughter.
But then a woman claimed that she was the woman’s daughter and her only daughter. They entered the room they thought another daughter, who the real daughter said was her mother’s maid. The maid is stealing a woman’s jewelry.
Celina walked in and talked to the guy in the hospital. Her lab report confirmed methamphetamine. She said she was arresting them. But one person fell from the bed, and the other said they didn’t do meth and they just stole it from someone else.
Wesley comes in and talks with Harper and checks out with her. He encouraged her to be confident because a lot of things keep happening to James.
She asked Wesley if James was cheating on her.
She knows they have brother codes, but he is also her friend. He comforts her and tells her that James has given her and that he has heard nothing about his cheating. James never mentioned Kyle, and he wasn’t surprised by the photo because that was James’ help, helping people.
Nolan found more information about the white supremacist anti-professionals involved in the Connor case. They plan to pick him up.
These people are about stealing from the tracks of the methamphetamine lab. When they heard the sirens, they put the money on their butts, and because of the lab, they only had methamphetamine.
Nolan misled him to think his father was there, and the arsonist was arrested in the hospital.
Angela talks to a gang leader about Connor and competes. He gave them a place.
Bradford, Nolan and Chen head to the location, which seems to be a film in search of Connor. Nolan takes place in the running Connor. He began shooting at them, and they made gunfire and foot twitches.
Bradford manages to deal with Connor and they arrest him.
Neila hears about James. He woke up from the operation and she went to talk to him.
She cried. She told him about his surgery and how optimistic they are about recovery. He apologized for taking all the pressure of the shooting. He told her he had to tell her about Kelly. He realized she knew the kiss.
He tells her the truth about Kelly’s kiss and what really happened. He tells her how much he loves her, apologizes, and says he will never hurt her. She knows.
Vivian is not putting pressure on Harper, and Gray is recovering her.
Nolan is proud of Celina’s huge bankruptcy.
Nolan talks to Harper about kissing, and he feels indifferent. He hates that he has to lie to her and tell her that she is his hero. They hug.
Nolan takes Bailey home.
