The holiday season may be over, but the hits are just heating up on the ARIA Singles Chart.
As the Christmas track takes a back seat to its seasonal dominance, Rosé and Bruno Mars reclaim the crown with their hit single “APT.,” which jumps from No. 8 to No. 1 for an eighth consecutive week at the top of the charts. Sydney indie-pop duo Royel Otis make their debut at No. 47 with “Linger (SiriusXM Session),” a new take on The Cranberry’s 1994 hit “Linger.”
The original version of “The Cranberry” became the band’s breakthrough single in the United States, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 1994 and staying on the chart for 24 weeks. It remains one of their most iconic tracks, blending alternative rock with orchestral elements and highlighting Dolores O’Riordan’s ethereal vocals.
