It was announced last month that it will star “Deadpool” and “Wolverine” Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Will reunite with director soon Sean Levy for a new movie
Reynolds previously revealed: “I’ve been writing all year. I’m writing a movie for myself, Hugh [Jackman] and Sean [Levy] That’s not Marvel.
We can now share details about the film, which will see Reynolds and Jackman play aging boy band members who reunite as middle-aged men after finding fame.
Reynolds told The Hollywood Reporter: “A lot of boy band members — and there were a lot of them — had their managers put them in trouble.
“The fame they experience when you surrender your self-worth to a screaming audience is difficult for anyone to navigate, let alone a teenager.
“It creates a stagnant culture. They’re forever tied to that time in their lives. It’s going to be about people in their 40s and 50s trying to get their lives back. I think there’s something about that. Beautiful stuff.
Jesse Andrews Having written the first draft of the script, Reynolds is working on the second draft. The actor also said that the film’s budget will be “modest” this time around, and that he and Levy are willing to find “creative ways” to make the film “absolutely cheap.”
