Fans are still on the FBI’s cancellation: International and FBI: What I want most.
While many of us are ready to give up on one of the two, no one could have expected that we would lose two series in one breath.
Of both, it’s likely to be in a series of international filming cheap spending with the FBI vote: International Jesse Lee Soffer’s headlines.

Will the loss of Wes Mitchell open the door for Jay Halstead’s return?
Shockingly, this is not the case. Not only have we had to lose all our beloved characters in the FBI: international characters we knew and appreciated over multiple seasons, but Newbie Soffer had only one season to stretch his legs before the role was over.
That said, Wes Mitchell doesn’t have if not controversial and polarized traits. If you ask any fans of the series, they either really love this guy or actively hate him.
His constant antics and pushing boundaries while working on cases can frustrate many people, and it is often no help to know that characters like Vo must be consistent.

The series even retuned a familiar implant mole that he had to dig the dirt on the guy, which was enough to bury him because like half of the fans didn’t care about Mitchell, there wasn’t over him either.
One of the problems with Mitchell is that it is not far from Soffer’s previous role.
Jay Halstead has only a year or two fans when he watched his role in another powerful ensemble Dick Wolf series, playing a soft long-term performance that is almost indistinguishable from his previous roles.
I think Mitchell feels like a combination of Halstead and Upton from Chicago PD, and ironically, maybe Voight himself is trapped in the mix.
But this is neither here nor here.
Should SOFFER return to Chicago PD after a controversial exit?

Unfortunately, CBS canceled the series to make many talented dirty hardcore fans wonder if it opened his door to return to Chicago PD.
Even if that door is open to him, should he pass through it?
There may be a lot of fans who would love to see Soffer take back Jay Halstead’s role and return to the series, even if brief.
Jay Halstead is a fan favorite, one of the original characters of Chicago PD, and many fans of the show miss him or have not joined the series since he left.
We haven’t seen Halsted since Chicago PD Season 10 Episode 3.

After the case that led to him covering up more misconduct, Hallstead realized that he could not continue to be broken in the moral compass and fundamentally changed his unit.
He re-entered the army, disappeared from a long mission in South America, during which time he gave up his new wife, Haley.
He didn’t even say goodbye to anyone except Voight.
If Hallstead returns, it will be difficult to cash out
In the history of the show, Hallstead’s departure is by far one of the most controversial and disappointing people to the audience.
Whether you like the character or hate him, most viewers can agree that his character deserves a better gift.

His departure caused Hailey Upton’s character to cause nearly two seasons of depression, and then she left.
With all this in mind, viewers even want Jesse Lee Soffer to return to the series?
They effectively remove everything most people like about the character and essentially destroy his memory. We watched the character development for ten years and had a blast on our faces.
And, how the series makes him the villain of the villain that Chicago PD can magically correct in a way that attracts viewers or redeems characters isn’t nothing.
Jay Halstead returns to Chicago PD in a way that satisfies fans.
The closest they can do is to bring him back briefly to participate in the case, which is different from how they tried to reintegrate Sean Roman in Chicago PD Season 7 Episode 15.
Hallstead is still incomplete without Hayley’s return

Of course, without the Hayley elements there, many necessary tensions worth exploring are lost. Sadly, the Chicago PD is first and foremost one of the biggest problems with the previous seasons is that some characters are so isolated that they don’t have strong interactions outside of a few occasions.
If Halstead appears, the series will not have enough time to correctly or correctly “redemption” his actions.
For Soffer himself, after ten years, after hanging up a hat on the show, a great reward occurred shortly after departure, especially the longer one or one that could go backwards.
If anything, he might want to go back straight, as he already has two episodes.
More importantly, one thing we have about Chicago PD Season 12 is the final full and best position for the actors.
Intelligence finally found its own rhythm as a unit again, and Halstead’s return will undermine this

The intelligence service has not been cohesive as a squad since the earlier season. All characters interact well with each other, and the season explores many dynamics, not just one or two.
The Chicago PD has found the right pace with the team and has also successfully balanced most of the roles for a long time. They also did a great job of researching these characters more deeply and developing them further.
It’s fun to see Halstead meet with newcomer Kiana or revisit Halstead/Torres to guide the dynamics, the series has few scratches or the most compelling surfaces – Voight and Halstead reunite, which is very likely to ruin the show and what is now built.
