During the conversation, the filmmakers discuss the origins and often unexpected evolution of their 2024 documentary. (Some of them have never made a movie before!) Five people who co-directed the film talked about these collaborations. Some political films discuss the challenges of finding distribution deals for such projects in the current climate. Everyone touches on the themes of their doc and/or the ways in which they were affected by the film’s production and/or distribution – often quite profoundly.
