President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige There have been some recent comments about the future of the MCU and the introduction of the X-Men.
At Disney’s Asia Pacific Content Showcase in Singapore, Feige discussed bringing the X-Men into the MCU, saying: “I think you’re going to see some of the characters you might recognize in our next few movies. X-Men players will continue to do this.

All we know about the upcoming X-Men movie is that the script was written by Michael Leslie (The Hunger Games: The Song of Birds and Snakes).

Marvel Studios has owned the rights to the X-Men for about five years, but it took them a long time to bring them into the Marvel Universe.
Their biggest movie to date involving the X-Men and mutants is Deadpool and Wolverinebut I have a feeling things will look a lot different when they introduce the MCU’s X-Men. We’ll just have to wait and see what Marvel has planned.
