While many Lil Nas X fans are getting hyped for his upcoming new single, dance artist Sega Bodega had a few questions about one of the rapper’s promotional photos.
In a series of posts on his dream boy and single artwork for Bodega’s 2021 song “Angel on My Shoulder.” “I’m not even trying to explain it, yeah,” Bodega wrote. “By all means, play Angel On My Shoulder.”

In these two photos, the subjects, Bodega and Lil Nas, sit in front of an old desktop computer in a dimly lit, wood-paneled room, while a figure made of light stands Behind them, the surroundings were covered with white light. Lil Nas himself pointed out the similarities in his Instagram Stories post, sharing the “Angel on My Should” artwork and calling it a “reference” for his new promotional photos.
When a fan pointed out Lil Nas’ Stories post to Bodega, the “Cicada” artist responded that he was still unhappy with the lack of recognition. Responding to a fan who called him “ungrateful” and said Lil Nas should be “deleted” [his] Bodega said he couldn’t tell “whether it was a good joke or not because that’s what he did, hahaha, no credit.” He added, “On a photo that will be gone forever in 24 hours Credit is provided in the photos and no artist or photographer is named [Aidan Zamiri]”Not enough.”
The artist’s complaint comes after Lil Nas X announced his new album Era dream boyand revealed that his next single “Light Again” will debut on Friday (November 15). In a post by Lil Nas mentioning Bodega’s single art, the rapper expressed a heartfelt thank you to his fans. “It dawned on me how lucky I am to have all of you still with me. Because I know it’s not always easy,” he wrote.
